Our Minister

Revd Barry Welch is also the minister of Trinity Church, Ashington (Methodist / URC), of Widdrington Methodist Church. He is President of the South East Ecumenical Area, President of Ashington Churches Together, the Racial Justice Advocate of the URC Northern Synod and serves on the Synod World & Society and Listed Building Committees. He is a former Quantity Surveyor with 21 years experience in construction and railways. He is a graduate of the University of Cambridge and trained for ministry at Westminster College, Cambridge.
